I have my doubts as to whether this was actually used enough to garner three cites; the OED (first ed.) says that "It is evident that the word had no real currency in English, and its appearance is due to Camden and Holland, copied by Phillips, Blount, Harris, Bailey, etc." (all of these are dictionaries, if I'm remembering accurately).
