Is this used to refer to living natural sponges, dried natural sponges, or sponges made from artificial materials? 71.66.97.228 02:51, 5 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

It’s living natural sponges. A kitchen sponge is tó yitsʼǫǫsí. —Stephen (Talk) 09:06, 5 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, how about a dried natural sponge one might purchase for use in washing? 71.66.97.228 03:38, 6 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

If they’re like me, most people would consider it as nothing more than a big kitchen sponge. I doubt that most people make the connection with sea sponges. If it’s meant to absorb and hold a lot of water as kitchen sponges do, then it’s a kitchen sponge, even if it’s used in the garage. —Stephen (Talk) 06:54, 7 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
