"A sense of excitement for the male"? edit

Do the following words really belong in Etymology 1? They were added by this edit and, in the absence of sources, don't look serious at all to me.

Often creating a sense of excitement for the male and perhaps the birth of the expression "on the verge" related to "close to".

Well I know how it feels when a verge is on the verge, but still "on the verge" is clearly etymology 2. I deleted it.--88.73.11.62 17:03, 22 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
