This whole purported etymology is wrong: "from heim (‘(farm) house’) + berht (‘home’), "illustrious house", early 20th c." (like, "Heim" is closer to "home" and has nothing to do with "farmhouse") 98.151.119.44 03:48, 19 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes, "heim" is the same than "home". Same root, same meaning. it's easy to check in a dictionary: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/german-english/heim

The etymology part should tell us the history of this word. Because it seems from a novel, a TV show or something?
