I am not sure if the usage of "would to" is to be considered adverbial or prepositional. Any disagreements with the adverbial? Bogorm 21:56, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
- You've misinterpreted this, I'm afraid. It's a use of would...that, with a prepositional object added in between. So it literally means "I wish (to God, Christ etc.) that...". Ƿidsiþ 10:47, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
