Pronunciation edit

Why do we have an American recording for a British slang/dialectical term? Any native speakers in the house? — LlywelynII 00:29, 10 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your/you're confusion edit

The examples hint that "yer" originated – or has been further fueled by – the common error of mixing up "your" and "you're".

Another aspect not explored here is possible relations (e.g. common origin) to the Danish "jer" (see https://en.m.wiktionary.org/wiki/jer). Ehasl (talk) 06:00, 29 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
