This template generates a etymology for hiragana characters with a handakuten.

They are: ぱ, ぴ, ぷ, ぺ and ぽ.

Usage

Place this template below the etymology header of any applicable entry.

Parameters

Both parameters are positional (unnamed).

• |1= The character without handakuten.
• |2= The romanization of the character without handakuten.

Examples

• The entry ぱ should contain:

• The entry ぺ should contain:
