Usage
editThis template may be used on Wiktionary entry pages to quote from a collection of Herman Melville's works entitled Billy Budd and Other Stories (1951). It can be used to create a link to an online version of the work at the Internet Archive.
The work includes the unfinished novella Billy Budd (written 1888–1891). The most authoritative version of that text is regarded as Herman Melville (1962) Harrison Hayford and Merton M. Sealts Jr., editors, Billy Budd, Sailor, Chicago, Ill.: University of Chicago Press, →OCLC, which is not currently available online. The version in this work is regarded as less reliable.
