This template may be used on Wiktionary entry pages to quote Philemon Holland's translation of Pliny the Elder's work Natural History entitled The Historie of the World. Commonly Called, The Naturall Historie of C. Plinius Secundus. (1634, 2 volumes); the 1st edition (London: […] Adam Islip, 1601; →OCLC) is not currently available in full online (an online version of the 1st edition of the 1st tome is available at Google Books, and appears to be identical to the 1634 version). The template takes the following parameters:
|1=,|tome=, or|volume=– mandatory: the tome or volume quoted from in Arabic numerals, either|tome=1or|tome=2.|2=or|book=– mandatory: if quoting from the main part of the work, the book number quoted from in uppercase Roman numerals, from|book=Ito|book=XXXVII.|chapter=– each book is subdivided into chapters. Use this parameter to specify the name of the chapter quoted from.|part=– if quoting from parts of the work other than the main part, give this parameter the value indicated in the first column of the following table:
