Can we fix references to Template:it-verb-old?

The documentation makes use of Template:it-verb-old to demonstrate the outcome of various usagages. That "-old" template doesn't exist, so all of the examples show an error instead of the intended output. This could be fixed by changing Template:it-verb-old to Template:it-verb throughout the document. I did this once, but my change was reverted without explanation. Are these references to the non-existent "-old" template intentional? If so, why? Cpetty-wiki (talk) 14:18, 15 June 2023 (UTC)

@Cpetty-wiki The two templates don't work quite the same way. I need to get around to fixing the documentation. Benwing2 (talk) 18:56, 15 June 2023 (UTC)
