Should the karakalpak latin be updated?

The current template is based on the latin alphabet, adopted by the Karakalpak language in 2009, while the most recent latin variant was adopted in 2016. At the same time, sites like Wikipedia use mixed latin variants with cyrillic. Keeping all of this in mind, should karakalpak latin on wiktionary be updated to the 2016 version?
