Template talk:rfv-failed

Problem with my previous edit edit

Looking at the list of transclusions, it's also used on Transwiki talk: titles as well. So it should include both. Or convert to nocat and tag the wrong entries individually. So how do I specify more than one namespace as valid? Arguably I could just copy the code and put Transwiki talk as the parameter, but can't they be combined in some way? Anyway, I'd better let the server catch up, as templates with more than a few hundred transclusions need that. Mglovesfun (talk) 11:04, 26 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Inaccurate text. edit

This template claims that

> The following information has failed Wiktionary's verification process.

and that

> [] We have archived here the disputed information, the verification discussion, and any documentation gathered so far, pending further evidence. []

but that's really not true. The only thing we archive is the RFV discussion; the disputed information, and any documentation gathered so far, will only be archived if they're included in the discussion.

I suggest rewording the first thing to

> Information from this page has failed Wiktionary's verification process.

and the second to

> [] We have archived here the verification discussion, which may contain the disputed information, as well as any documentation gathered so far, pending further evidence. []

Any objections?
