I'm new to Wiktionary, and not sure how active I'll be, given that my home wiki is en.wikipedia and the project I'm currently most committed to is the Feminism book on Wikibooks.
After almost eight years of study (since September 2001) I read French well and write it less well. I started studying Japanese in September 2007 and can read quite well with furigana, quite poorly without. I can ask and answer simple questions. I can read a little bit of Spanish, but not write it.
