• CFI: Just adding more information/context to the Inflections section.

  This information was copied + edited from Wiktionary:Redirections.

• EL:
  • Adding longer explanations in the sections "Entry name" and "Language", including some information from Wiktionary:Redirections and Wiktionary:Spelling variants in entry names, including:
    • Explanation about entry name variants at the proposed "Entry name" section, from Wiktionary:Spelling variants in entry names.
    • Explanation about different capitalizations and variations of words, from Wiktionary:Redirections.

    (these two policy stubs predate Wiktionary:Votes/pl-2008-08/Inclusion of regular inflected forms, so they have some outdated text, which has been ignored for the purposes of this vote; only the parts of pages that are still up-to-date were used in this proposal.)

  • Adding conspicuous links to Wiktionary:About English, Wiktionary:About Translingual and Wiktionary:Language considerations in the "Language considerations" section.
  • Ordering sections, making "The entry core" appear above "Additional headings".
  • Merging some sections with repeated information, such as the 2 separate "References" and the separate "Parts of speech" and "Part of speech or other descriptor", moving "Language considerations" as a subsection of "Languages".
  • Editing out 3 sentences that would formally allow the use of untemplatized bold text or parentheses in headword lines:
    • "# the inflection word itself (using the correct Part of Speech template or the word in bold letters),"
    • "For uninflected words it is enough to repeat the entry word in boldface."
    • "The template {{head}} serves as a generic headword template for all languages. Further forms can be given in parentheses."
