Logged on en.wiktionary since 2023. Fell in love with how neatly Japanese entries on this site, it inspires me to give a little bit contribution towards my own native language entries, the Javanese entries.
Kinda wish Javanese entries to be a little bit neater. Like, do we actually even have a fixed template for our entries? Currently still seeking if there were any community discussion page for it.

Languages
editI'm a native-born Javanese speaker, learnt Indonesian through formal education, media (just like any Indonesian out there), and social sphere (I have native Indonesian speakers as families, and friends) throughout the years.
Have been learning English only through formal education and social media, lacking in expressions, idiomatic knowledge, and native-like speech since probably because I've never naturally interacted with native-speakers, irl.
Self-taught Japanese learner. Unironically been learning Japanese only through media and online dictionary. I wouldn't trust myself with my ability, though (so, don't ask). Lacking in Kanji knowledge in general (e.g. the how-to-read, compound Kanji), except for the basics (N-2 kanjis). I have some basic grip on the verb inflections and its stem-form groupings.
Scripts
editI've learnt Javanese script through formal education and then continues to online self-taught. Lacking in in-depth knowledge of Javanese script history.
Also learnt Arabic (and by extension Pegon script) through formal education. Only very basic stuff, like how-to-read (with and without haraakat), and how-to-write.
Just recently enlightened by the existence of IPA. Read the whole wikipedia page for it. That's all, really.
