User:Mellohi!/Old Irish verb reclassification

I am planning to implement a sweeping reform of how we categorize Old Irish verbs on Wiktionary, in order to better capture the complicated inflection patterns on these verbs.

Currently under Category:Old Irish verbs by present formation, we have the Thurneysen schema for present stem classification:

The new schema edit

I am going to replace this system with a much more detailed and layered system, derived from that of McCone.

Present stem classes edit

The present stem classes will be drastically reformed. Thurneysen's monikers will be disposed of and replaced by McCone's. Class A II, B I, and hiatus verbs will be split. Additionally, there will be separate categories for deponent and non-deponent verbs of the same class.

Category:Old Irish strong verbs (B)
- Category:Old Irish S1 verbs (B I; no deponents in this category)
  - Category:Old Irish class S1a verbs (default)
  - Category:Old Irish class S1b verbs (Verbs with stem-final dental consonants, which is depalatalized and delenited in compounds)
  - Category:Old Irish class S1c verbs (canaid-type verbs without any palatalization of the stem-final consonant in the present stem except in the 3sg conjunct)
  - Category:Old Irish class S1d verbs (B III, nasal-affixed strong verbs)
- Category:Old Irish S2 verbs (B II)
  - Category:Old Irish class S2 present verbs (B II non-deponent)
  - Category:Old Irish class S2 deponent present verbs (B II deponent)
Category:Old Irish weak verbs (A I + A II)
- Category:Old Irish W1 verbs (A I)
  - Category:Old Irish class W1 present verbs
  - Category:Old Irish class W1 deponent present verbs
- Category:Old Irish W2 verbs (A II)
  - Category:Old Irish W2a verbs (no stem alternations between -o- and -u-)
    - Category:Old Irish class W2a present verbs
    - Category:Old Irish class W2a deponent present verbs (lots of -igidir derivatives here)
  - Category:Old Irish W2b verbs (stem alternation between -u- in the present and future vs. -o- in the preterite and subjunctive)
    - Category:Old Irish class W2b present verbs
    - Category:Old Irish class W2b deponent present verbs (generally populated by ·cuirethar compounds)
