Hi, you might want to see my user page on Wikipedia.
Re Wiktionary, my experience with languages are
- My first language is Taiwanese Mandarin Chinese. My parents spoke Mandarin to me as a kid and made me go to Chinese school. As a kid, I didn't care much about Chinese, so I didn't really take it seriously. Once I learned English, I exclusively spoke it at home and eventually lost much of my fluency in Chinese. I can understand spoken Chinese about as fluently as a 5-year-old can, but I struggle to form my own sentences. I can't really read or write Chinese other than recognizing a few basic characters. I used to know Zhuyin as a kid, but now I only know Pinyin.
- I learned English in elementary school (since I was born and raised in California). I think I have a slight accent, but otherwise English is my native language.
- I learned Spanish from seventh grade to twelfth grade in middle and high school.
