1 The plural forms are considered archaic in the modern-day standard language but were ubiquitous in literature and educated speech up until c. 1930–40, and still occur in some folk songs and poetry. 2 In most current-day speech and writing the subjunctive forms are replaced with the past indicative forms. However, they have not been declared obsolete by the Swedish Academy, and some forms are still used in everyday speech. |
