Hello. I am new to wiktionary so it will take me some time to get on my feet, but I am hoping to help out with the English versions of the Korean and Japanese dictionaries. I am a Canadian but I am currently in a Master's degree program in (Korean, Japanese and hopefully Altaic) Linguistics at Seoul National University, in South Korea.
I have always had an interest in languages, particularly concerning dictionaries and their construction. I get by in Japanese and Korean, can get the jist of Chinese (depending on the situation) and am currently learning Uzbek, Mongolian, Turkish, and French, although Turkish and French are not coming along that quickly at the moment.
I hope to be able to help with the sorting work (I have a thing about disorder that just erks me), and adding entries for linguistic terms that I happen to run across in my studies as well as whatever else happens to come my way. I have an interest in particles and other grammar points and hope to see a uniform template for their entries.
I am not really sure how to make a proper user page but this will do for now.
