editOkay, so the options for the {{ws}}
template are: the style of the top middle, of the bottom middle (placing the logo to the right if there's a WS entry), the second-to-bottom middle (changing the globe for the full logo (linked) when there's a WS entry), and the old style shown to the right. Another option is to have some combination of the two, or a completely different one entirely. Be aware that the "Newest entries" section on the main page is self-updating.
