First, "war" is "milito", not "militio". (Unless that's an obscure term I'm not familiar with.) Also, while not grammatically wrong, it is stylistically... unusual. People say "Kiam finigxos la milit(ad)o?" rather than using an impersonal transitive verb with no object.
