Hello Blablubbs, I'm writing to you because you're a sysop in the English wiki and you deal among other things with blocks and unblocks. I've recently submitted a request at WP:UTRS (nr. 53759) and I'd like to have an opinion about it by an admin like you. I'm not asking you to take care of the request yourself, just to give me an opinion after reading it. Do you think that such an unblock request could be granted? Or are there any reasons that make it unacceptable? I think I've explained the reasons why this block is currently useless and Wikipedia wouldn't be less protected without it; actually it isn't the block itself that I'm appealing but its extension that still lasts, because the original block would have already expired if it hadn't been lengthened by the blocking admin after my first attempt to appeal it over a year ago, when it was created along with others because of an IP range hopper vandal. Please, give me your sysop opinion, I'm just asking for a third neutral view. I hope you're available for this, but if you aren't just tell me and I won't insist. I've written this message here on Wiktionary instead of Wikipedia because I don't want to give the blocking admin an excuse to extend the block once more. Thank you in advance if you'll reply.

  • I'm sorry, but I cannot help you. Please direct any appeals to UTRS. --Blablubbs (talk) 15:50, 8 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
    • Ok, never mind, thanks anyway for replying. I've already submitted a request to UTRS but no admin has reviewd it yet, that's why I was trying contacting one of them directly. Bye!
