You're off to a good start. Feel free to ask me questions on my talk page. You seem to have good instincts for the need to be cautious while learning the ropes. Wiktionary can be a little tricky for newbies: it is possible to accdentally get yourself classified and treated as a troublemaker. Cusper looks like a good word, attestable, new. It's attestation will require a little work and would be a good example of how attestation works. Take a look at the Requests for Verification and Requests for Deletion pages for examples.
