exploit

There are too many "vegans" saying it's vegan to eat meat and animal products as long as you don't pay for it. That's why I added the quote. There are people who call themselves vegan while eating eggs from their own backyard chickens. Hell, there are even non-vegan dumpster divers calling themselves vegans! I reverted your edits because the quotation is not durably archived. It doesn't cast a good light on Wiktionary if we quote blog posts even though the word has been used millions of times in much higher quality media. I agree though that the second verb sense doesn't only apply to humans (you added your quote under the first sense though). — Fytcha〈 T | L | C 〉 14:41, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

Module:tr-verb form of and -iyor

I couldn't use {{tr-verb form of}} to define istiyorum. It reported an error because it didn't recognize the ending. Perhaps the suffix's odd habit of replacing the last vowel is confusing. Vox Sciurorum (talk) 16:10, 12 April 2023 (UTC)

@Vox Sciurorum: I intentionally didn't implement support for all endings in {{tr-verb form of}}. The reason is that I didn't want to encourage editors to create entries such as istiyorum. Need your input on a policy impacting gadgets and UserJS

Dear interface administrator,

This is Samuel from the Security team and I hope my message finds you well.

There is an ongoing discussion on a proposed policy governing the use of external resources in gadgets and UserJS. The proposed Third-party resources policy aims at making the UserJS and Gadgets landscape a bit safer by encouraging best practices around external resources. After an initial non-public conversation with a small number of interface admins and staff, we've launched a much larger, public consultation to get a wider pool of feedback for improving the policy proposal. Based on the ideas received so far, the proposed policy now includes some of the risks related to user scripts and gadgets loading third-party resources, best practices for gadgets and UserJS developers, and exemptions requirements such as code transparency and inspectability.

As an interface administrator, your feedback and suggestions are warmly welcome until July 17, 2023 on the policy talk page.
