enacting quotation edit

It looks like that quote for "enactings" does exist here [1], in this book from 1824. Guitarmankev1 (talk) 13:48, 19 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sweet, thanks in advance for adding it. Well found! --Java Beauty (talk) 13:49, 19 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'm a little unfamiliar with the formatting for quotations, but I did my best. Feel free to clean it up if you see fit. Guitarmankev1 (talk) 13:55, 19 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, you might be interested in this. The etymology of your all-time name, Wonderfool, is missing, so you might want to add it. Thanks! inqilābī [ inqilāb zindabād ] 14:31, 26 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

WF already did it. And changed the etymology about 6 times. --Java Beauty (talk) 14:36, 26 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
What, six etymologies for the name "Wonderfool"? But what you already did?— still marked as unknown there. Feel free to add it yourself. inqilābī [ inqilāb zindabād ] 14:44, 26 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • You can find it in the page history if you really want. Or wait for the posthumous publication of The Miscellanies of the late great Wonderfool, or Severaull of their Lexicographicall Follies, collated for the first time by PseudoSkull --Java Beauty (talk) 14:48, 26 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Oh! I misunderstood your comment. I have added your etymology now. By the way, at least mention the name of Wiktionary in the title of that treatise, since all your lexicographical exploits have been done on WT! inqilābī [ inqilāb zindabād ] 15:33, 26 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
What is CV? But OED will spurn you out if you do Wonderfoolery there. And, who will overlook your main page exploits, your biographer or the OED? inqilābī [ inqilāb zindabād ] 15:43, 26 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Oh there was no need to hyperlink the term! I am not foolish: I also looked it up, but could not understand which CV you meant— there are so many meanings... Well, I have another question: since your later OED exploits will also be included in that treatise, how can PseudoSkull write the book, as they, like any other editor here, know only about your WT life.
  • Furthermore, also ensure that another book relating to your real life is published, under the name: The Pusillanimous Escapades of the Late Great Wonderfool; Or, His Criminall Activities in Britain, His Fleeyinge into Exile in Spain, & His Elopement with an Asturiana away unto Shangri-La— collated for the first time by Guitarmankev1. inqilābī [ inqilāb zindabād ] 21:36, 26 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
I'm quite confused how I keep getting brought up in these discussions... – Guitarmankev1 (talk) 18:51, 28 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Guitarmankev1: Hey, that's because Wonderfool claimed (in the above post) that you are his gardener. Do you really have connexions with him, or was he joking? But at any rate I apologize should this have irked you. inqilābī [ inqilāb zindabād ] 19:14, 28 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Inqilābī: lol I'm not irked or anything, no need to apologize. I recall that elsewhere Mr Blotto himself asked if I was a WF alt, I just wonder what I did to make him think that. And if I ever planted WF's petunias, I certainly wasn't aware of who he was at the time.
Also, it looks like you have a typo in your signature's contributions link, which directs to the contributions of the user "Iqnilābī". – Guitarmankev1 (talk) 23:22, 28 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Guitarmankev1: But what's more intriguing is WF's initial reply to SemperBlotto's asking, & his subsequent alteration of his original reply with a blatant edit summary. And no, there's no typo. in my signature's link: the metathesis was accidentally introduced by you, actually. But take no worries, mistakings happen... inqilābī [ inqilāb zindabād ] 20:42, 29 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
