That might be worth bringing up in the Beer Parlour. To my knowledge (which is often lacking), we don't have an official policy on how dialects are treated in translation sections, and I think we could benefit from one. In fact, there are a number of translations issues which really ought to be brought up in the Beep parlour. Anyway, from a technical standpoint, all you would have to do to keep words from getting tagged as naughty on this list is to have all dialect information after the colon, not before. ISO 639-3 codes

ISO 639-3 code for Karakalpak is "kaa". Maro 14:43, 7 November 2008 (UTC)

{{kaa}} and {{lang:kaa}} list it as Kara-Kalpak, which is what SIL calls it. However, the ethnologue calls it Karakalpak. A standard needs to be set, and everything set to it. -Atelaes λάλει ἐμοί 19:07, 7 November 2008 (UTC)
