alrightnik (plural alrightniks)

  1. (colloquial) A person who has attained a successful lifestyle, but is considered vulgar or nouveau riche.

Alrightniks are materialists; they parade their money; they lack modest, sensitive qualities. They talk loudly, dress garishly, show off.
