- Used to answer an question, with its meaning generally being 'no' or 'not yet', but also 'yes' in some contexts.
Usage notes
editbolom must be used with jadi when the sentence construction is "X be not Y yet" (both X and Y are nouns). More examples of the usage are as follows.
- Tadi ta lia nga bolom tidor.
- I saw you were not sleeping yet.
- Depe makanan bolom dingin.
- The food is not cold yet.
- Ta pe ana bolom jadi polisi.
- My son is not a police officer yet.
- Nga bolom jadi pegawai.
- You are not an employee yet.
