Usage notes

edit

This verb, which expresses agreement, indirectly expresses enjoyment using the common construction: "[object enjoyed] agrees with [subject]". In English it is most natural to say "[subject] enjoys [object]", but it is common in Scottish Gaelic to use còrd ri rather than the verb meal = "enjoy".
