1. (anatomy) An activated B cell that is enlarged with multiple eccentric nucleoli and proliferating in the germinal center of a secondary lymphoid follicle, after stimulation by follicular dendritic cell cytokines and helper T cells.

     Therefore we proposed the term centroblast instead of germinoblast and the term centrocyte instead of germinocyte.
