Camp Cupcake was somewhere where the grunts would make a pit stop. They'd see you and you were the most beautiful thing in the world. Back home you may not be much, but out there they've got deployment goggles—you look good, so you're in chow hall and it's kind of uncomfortable because you feel like a piece of meat or something on display.
