golden skirt (plural golden skirts)

  1. (business, informal) A woman who is a director on several boards.

      Table 12.3 indicates that 'the old boys' network' is replaced by the 'Golden Skirts'. The men with the most board positions are now those who are either themselves investors or investors' representatives, that is, the 'Gold Sacks'.
