grabofç

Alternative forms edit
Etymology edit
Ultimately from Proto-Slavic *grabǫšnęš (“a mythological snake that drinks from cattle udders”). Compare Serbo-Croatian grabonos. Topalli suggests that the final -ofç is derived from an optative verbal suffix.[1][2]
