- Comrade Fidel Castro Ruz was an outstanding leader of the Cuban people, who honorably defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country, established for the first time in the western hemisphere a socialist regime where the people were the true owners and dedicated his entire life for the sake of the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people and a renowned statesman who made an important contribution to fulfilling the independent-anti-imperialist cause for socialism and justice.
