  1. An isoline connecting points on a map with the same concentration of chlorine in water.

      The maximum level of chlorides in drinking water is 250 mg/l. After 14 days, the brine plume has a radius of 420 feet to the 250 mg/l isochlor contour. Over a period of 100 years, the plume grows slowly to a radius of 1,150 feet (250 mg/l isochlor contour).
