From Sanskrit ॐ मणिपद्मे हूं (oṃ maṇipadme hūṃ, O, she with the jewel in the lotus), internally derived from मणि (maṇi, jewel) and पद्म (padma, lotus). (oṃ) and हूं (hūṃ) are not translated.
