Most archosaurs exhibit a common series of laminae that extend between the centrum and neural arch, and between various neural arch processes (e.g., centrodiapophyseal laminae, pre- and postzygodiapophyseal laminae), but sauropods and non-avian theropods possess many more that are not present in other archosaur groups (e.g., [18 ,28 ,36 ,38 ,41 ,44 ]).
