tropical astrology (uncountable)

  1. (astrology) A form of astrology that measures the position of the sun relative to the vernal equinox. This does not compensate for the precession of Earth's axis, so that the zodiac signs move around the sky relative to the vernal equinox by about one sign every 2150 years.
