Cognate with Ugaritic 𐎐𐎌𐎖 (nšq, to kiss), Akkadian 𒉈𒅢 (/⁠našāqu⁠/, to kiss), Arabic نَسَقَ (nasaqa, to be set next to each other, to be side by side, to be paired or coordinated, to be arranged symmetrically, to be touching closely or attached).
