This is a metaphor used exclusively in the idiom "life's a beach," itself a pun on "life's a bitch." As far as I know it has enjoyed no use beyond this highly specific context. Indeed life's a beach is an idiom that I think we should have, you can't always deconstruct an idiom into it's parts, on the contrary in fact! For example in at sixes and sevens, sixes and sevens have no independent meaning in this idiom, you can't 'extract' them. Ergo cite properly or delete. Mglovesfun (talk) 08:46, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
