Parameters

Most of the time it suffices to call the template with no parameters:

{{hi-conj}}

This will automatically conjugate the verb based on the current pagename. For example, if invoked on the खिलाना (khilānā) page, it will produce

If the pagename has multiple words in it, links will be added around each word, and only the last word will be conjugated as a verb. An example is साफ़ करना (sāf karnā, to clean), where invoking {{hi-conj}} on the page produces

If the verbal expression includes non-lemma forms that need to be linked to lemmas, or otherwise requires two-part links, they can be given explicitly as the first parameter to {{hi-conj}}. For example, on the page अंगारे उगलना (aṅgāre ugalnā, to speak sarcastically, literally to vomit embers), use the following:

{{hi-conj|[[अंगारा|अंगारे]] [[उगलना]]}}

which produces

Note how the non-lemma form अंगारे is linked to the lemma अंगारा (aṅgārā, ember).
