"rm "to be" from adjective"

Hi,

I don't approve your removal of "to be". You seem to lack the understanding. Did you consider discussing? Khmer and not only Khmer adjectives are both adjectives and verbs and some are not adjectives at all. --Anatoli T. ^{(обсудить}/^вклад) 03:15, 18 January 2022 (UTC)

I am no expert in Khmer, but I know what adjectives are and I know what verbs are. If the set up is as you say, and the same word form can be both an adjective and a verb, then they should be listed separately, as is the case at ស្លោក.

I don't see that as an acceptable solution by a group, only your comment. In Khmer (so in Thai and Lao) a regular adjective can be translated as "(to be) + English adjective". They don't take copulas, as with "A" = "B" and behave like verbs and they can form abstract nouns (the same way verbal nouns are formed). No need to duplicate and have both adjective and verb entries. Other adjectives may only be used attributively or they can be derived from nouns with no abstract nouns are formed. I recommend not to touch the entries if you have no knowledge of Khmer whatsoever.
