denominatie
Dutch
Etymology
From Middle Dutch denominatie or directly from Middle French denomination, from Latin denominatio "a calling by anything other than the proper name, metonymy", from denominare "to name", itself from de- "completely" + nominare "to name" (from nomen 'a name'); the religious sense was separately imported from the cognate English denomination
