Learned borrowing from Koine Greek εἰσπράκτωρ (eispráktōr, tax collector) with the accusative case ending -ορα (-ora), from εἰσ- (eis-) +‎ πράκτωρ (práktōr), with semantic loan from French percepteur.[1]
