- Թըզկերուկ հաւ մի կայ,
Որ միշտ թըզով նա գիրանայ- Tʻəzkeruk haw mi kay,
Or mišt tʻəzov na giranay - There is the bird tʻəzkeruk,
That grows fat on figs

Usage notes
editThe species is unknown. Has been glossed with Ottoman Turkish انجیر قوشی (incir kuşu),[2] Italian beccafico,[3] English figpecker,[4] French becfigue,[5][6] German Feigendrossel,[7] based solely on the fig-eating. Typologically compare also Georgian მოლაღური (molaɣuri).
