Usage notes edit

The conditional mood in Armenian shows actions in the future which depend on a condition; therefore, it is more typical to compound sentences. It has two tenses: future and future perfect.

Infinitive: գրել (grel) — to write
Future tense conditional: կգրեմ (kgrem) — I will write
Future perfect tense conditional: կգրեի (kgrei) — I would have written
- եթե ուզեմ, կգրեմ ― etʻe uzem, kgrem ― if I want, I will write
