וַיֵּצֵא • (vayetsé)

1. (And) (he/it) exited, left: third-person masculine singular vav-consecutive imperfect (hence past tense) of יָצָא (yatsá).

     וַיֵּצֵא אֶל אֶחָיו וַיַּרְא בְּסִבְלֹתָם

     vayetsé el echáv vayár b'sivlotám

     he went out to his people and looked on their burdens
