מַעֲצָר • (ma'atsár) m (plural indefinite מַעֲצָרִים, singular construct מַעֲצַר־, plural construct מַעַצְרֵי־) [pattern: מִקְטָל]

(uncountable) Arrest, detainment (of a person, such as by the police).
(countable) An arrest, a detainment.
(uncountable) Restraint, constraint.
