1. (idiomatic) To do one's part: to fulfill one's duty or responsibility.

   עשיתי את שלי. ― asíti ét shelí. ― I did my part.

   היא עושה את שלה. ― hí osá ét sheláh. ― She's doing her part.

Usage notes

• Note that the verb עשה (asá) and the preposition של (shél) in this idiom must both be inflected to agree with the subject.
