editCognate with Arabic ظُهْر (ẓuhr) and Aramaic טהרא (ṭahrā). For use of the dual, compare ערביים / עַרְבַּיִם (arbáyim, “twilight, dusk”). Equivalent to the dual of צוהר / צֹהַר (tsóhar). Perhaps distantly related to זוהר / זֹהַר (zóhar).
